Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Create welcoming, efficient environment for patients and guide them through the initial stages of care.
• Collect demographics and update patient records accurately.
• Verify insurance coverage and ensure correct coverage on accounts.
• Arrange pre-authorizations or referrals and explain benefits to patients.
• Provide exceptional customer service by answering calls professionally.
• Maintain HIPAA compliance and patient confidentiality.
• Collect payments per hospital policy.
• Assist patients with navigating the online patient portal.
• Support flexibility as work areas may shift with needs.
