Job summary

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Preferred clerical or customer service experience.
• Prefer hospital/medical office experience.
• Medical terminology certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Accurately register admissions, pretest and outpatient appointments.
• Obtain signatures, financial information, and perform point-of-service collections.
• Adhere to hospital policies, HIPAA and customer service standards.
• Maintain patient tracking and update demographics in computer systems.
• Support department with scheduling and back-up registration needs.
