You will prepare meals per menus and dietary guidelines, ensure timely service and proper presentation, and maintain kitchen cleanliness and safety while supporting inventory and collaboration with the Dietary Manager.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Prior experience as a cook in healthcare, hospitality, or restaurant setting preferred.
• Knowledge of food safety and sanitation procedures required.
• Ability to read and follow recipes and dietary instructions.
• Dependable, team-oriented, and able to work independently.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook meals according to menus, recipes, and dietary guidelines.
• Ensure meals are served on time and at the proper temperature and presentation.
• Follow portion control and safe food-handling practices.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen and equipment in compliance with health and safety standards.
• Assist with inventory, food storage, and supply rotation.
• Work collaboratively with the Dietary Manager and team to meet resident needs and preferences.
