Job summary

Paycom - ATS is seeking a registered nurse to provide hospice care to terminally ill patients in home settings. You will assess nursing needs, deliver treatments, and support families during bereavement, while collaborating with the interdisciplinary group to ensure continuity of care.

The role requires leadership in supervising staff, developing patient care plans with IDG, and maintaining HIPAA-compliant records. Flexibility to participate in on-call coverage is essential.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited school of nursing.
• Currently licensed as a registered nurse in the state.
• Minimum 2 years of RN experience; active patient contact preferred.
• Ability to work independently and supervise others.
• Able to respond to crisis outside hospital settings.
• Adaptable to diverse social, racial, cultural and religious groups.

Responsibilities

• Provide hospice nursing care to terminally ill patients.
• Assess and reassess nursing needs; adjust care plans.
• Provide dietary counseling and preventive care.
• Educate and counsel patient and family on caregiving.
• Supervise and train other nursing staff.
• Maintain patient records and HIPAA compliance.
• Coordinate care plans with IDG; participate in team conferences.
• Provide on-call coverage as required.
