Job summary

Prisma Health EMS is seeking a Driver for PACE Transportation to provide safe, reliable transport for elderly participants with mobility needs. You will operate vans equipped with wheelchair lifts, assist participants, and ensure timely pickups and drop-offs while maintaining dignity and safety.

Day shifts, strong teamwork with the care team, and adherence to safety protocols are required. A high school diploma or equivalent is needed; experience with frail or elderly populations is preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent or higher education.
• No experience required; 1 year with frail/elderly population preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operate vans with wheelchair lifts to transport participants safely and on schedule.
• Assist participants with loading/unloading and secure mobility devices.
• Maintain schedules and determine safe, efficient routes.
• Perform daily pre- and post-trip inspections and report safety concerns.
• Collaborate with the care team and communicate changes in participant condition.
