Job summary

Prisma Health EMS is seeking a Driver for PACE Transportation to safely transport participants with mobility limitations in Richland area. You will assist with boarding, operate wheelchair lifts, secure mobility devices, and ensure on-time pickups and drop-offs under established protocols.

Day shifts are typical, requiring strong safety practices and coordination with the care team. A valid driver’s license and clean MVR are required; basic digital skills are needed for scheduling and

Qualifications

• Proficiency with basic computer operations including email and navigation of common software.
• Advanced skills with mobile devices (smartphones and tablets) and scheduling/communication platforms.

Responsibilities

• Drive and operate specially equipped vehicles for transportation of participants.
• Assist participants with varying mobility and ensure safety and comfort during transport.
• Maintain schedules, plan efficient routes, and adjust for changes as needed.
• Perform pre- and post-trip inspections and report maintenance or safety concerns.
• Collaborate with the care team and communicate any changes in participant condition.
