Job summary

Trinity Health PACE Alexandria is seeking a compassionate transportation professional to ensure safe and timely transport of PACE participants. You will maintain vehicle cleanliness and safety while promptly reporting any issues.

Responsibilities include safely transporting participants, adhering to schedules, operating vehicles per safety standards, and providing assistance during boarding and disembarking. CDL and experience with elderly populations are preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; Associate degree preferred.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean record; CDL with passenger endorsement for larger vehicles preferred.
• Minimum one year of experience with elderly or frail populations preferred.

Responsibilities

• Safely transport PACE participants, prioritizing comfort and safety.
• Adhere to schedules, adjusting for unforeseen changes and participant needs.
• Operate vehicles in compliance with regulations and safety standards.
• Provide physical assistance to participants during boarding and disembarking.
• Handle biohazard materials with proper precautions.
• Maintain vehicle cleanliness and equipment functionality.

Skills

Safe transportation
