Job summary

The Blake at Flowood in Flowood, Mississippi, is seeking a Personal Assistant to provide companionship and support for residents in a full-time role from 7am to 3pm, including every other weekend. Responsibilities include assisting with activities of daily living, light housekeeping, dining support, memory and engagement activities, and reporting changes with daily data sheets.

Requirements include a caring, service-oriented attitude; High School Diploma or GED; CNA certification preferred;

Qualifications

• Caring, service-oriented disposition.
• High School Diploma or GED.
• CNA certification preferred but not required (state dependent).
• CPR/First Aid preferred.
• Ability to work weekends and holidays.
• Experience with older adults preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provides companionship and activities of daily living (bathing, dressing, feeding, etc.).
• Reports changes in health and status and records progress in daily data sheets.
• Assists residents with memory and performance improvement programs.
• Light housekeeping and laundry.
• Assists with dining as needed or directed by leadership.
• Keeps residents engaged and happy through activities.
