Job summary

Sanitas in Florida seeks a Nurse Practitioner to deliver outpatient primary care. You will report to the Medical Director, provide comprehensive care, coordinate services, and ensure quality patient outcomes in our Pinellas County clinics.

The position requires a Master’s in Nursing, an active NP license, DEA, BLS and ACLS, with Advanced English; Spanish and Creole are preferred. On-site work with travel as needed to multiple centers is expected.

Qualifications

• Master's degree from accredited Nursing Program.
• 3+ years in primary care.
• Valid State Nurse Practitioner License.
• Current DEA Certificate.
• Certification by a NP certifying body (ANCC or AANP) as a Family NP or Adult Gerontology NP.
• Current BLS and ACLS certification.

Responsibilities

• Provide quality outpatient primary care to patients and report to the Medical Director.
• Diagnose and treat patients; coordinate care and preventive services.
• Prescribe medications per state statutes and practice guidelines.
• Maintain problem-oriented health records per Health Information Management policies.
• Ensure continuity of care within clinic schedules and center scope of practice.
• Mentor students and supervise clinical support staff as appropriate.
