Job summary

Adoration Health, an affiliate of BrightSpring Health Services, is seeking an Occupational Therapy Assistant to support therapists in delivering patient-centered rehabilitation in a home health setting. Requirements include an OTA degree, state certification, CPR, TB test, insurance proof, and the ability to assist with lifting patients.

Qualifications

• Degree from a certified occupational therapy assistant training program
• Current Occupational Therapist Assistant certification in state of practice
• Current Live CPR Certification
• Two-step TB skin test required
• Proof of Auto Insurance
• Knowledge of evidence based therapy interventions
• Familiarity with assisted living, independent living, geriatrics and/or home health
• One year preferred
• New grads encouraged to apply
• Ability to lift 50 pounds
• Moving, lifting, or transferring of patients may involve lifting up to 100 pounds
• Fine motor skills, visual acuity, and walking/standing for extended periods
• Additional physical requirements include pushing/pulling, bending/stooping, reaching, kneeling, and positioning frequently

Responsibilities

• Assisting the Occupational Therapist in the implementation of treatment intervention
• Administer therapeutic exercises and activities to improve patients' strength, mobility and function
• Providing training to individuals and others involved in rehabilitation, and documenting results
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records
• Supporting individuals' plan of treatment by documenting and reporting status changes to the multidisciplinary team
• Other duties as assigned
