Westgate Gardens Care Center in Visalia, CA is hiring an Occupational Therapist to join our rehabilitation team.

The OT evaluates and treats residents, collaborates with families and physicians, and maintains documentation in medical records. The role also includes supervision of COTA and participation in discharge planning; strong communication and organizational skills are essential.

The position offers flexible status: Full-Time, Part-Time or Per Diem with competitive hourly pay.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Therapy; advanced degrees preferred.
• Proficiency with Casamba and Point Click Care.
• Ability to read and understand technical procedures and manuals.
• Strong communication with managers, coworkers and families.
• Ability to apply math concepts to practical scenarios.

Responsabilités

• Evaluate patients within 24 hours of referral and document progress.
• Develop and obtain approval for treatment plans from physicians.
• Treat patients per physician plan and discharge planning.
• Supervise COTA, aides, and students in therapy.
• Record evaluations and treatment notes; ensure compliance.
