Clarkson Eyecare in Chesterfield, MO is seeking an Optometric Technician to assist doctors with preliminary testing and patient workflow. You will verify insurances, communicate with patients and staff, and handle inquiries in person, by phone, or by email.

This role requires a high school diploma and strong interpersonal skills. Ideal candidates have medical office experience, are comfortable with ophthalmic testing equipment, and can pass a background check.

Qualifications

• Previous medical office experience preferred; previous ophthalmic experience strongly preferred.
• Minimum of 1 year in a position interacting with customers/patients or the equivalent combination of education and experience
• Favorable result on background check as required by state
• Must be able to provide proof of identity and right to work in the United States
• High school diploma or GED required
