Job summary

Endeavor Health in Arlington Heights, IL, seeks an experienced Oncology Infusion Nurse for the Northwest Community Hospital Infusion Center. This part-time role (24 hours/week) offers weekday shifts and occasional weekends, delivering compassionate, evidence-based care to infusion patients.

You will plan, implement, and evaluate care, collaborate with physicians and the clinical team, and provide patient teaching and documentation compliant with HIPAA.

Qualifications

• Education: Bachelors in Nursing required.
• Experience: 1 year RN experience required; oncology/infusion preferred.
• Certifications: BLS/CPR required; OCN/ONS certification preferred or willingness to obtain.
• License: Current IL RN licensure required.
• Certification reimbursement available for both full- and part-time.
• Clinical competency in infusion therapy and patient education.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement care plans to achieve expected outcomes.
• Evaluate patient progress and revise plans as needed.
• Provide patient assessment and health data collection with families and team.
• Communicate plans to patient/family and to physicians; document data.
• Educate patients and families; tailor teaching to learning needs.
• Collaborate with nurses, physicians, and care teams to ensure optimal outcomes.
• Assist in monitoring wound/ostomy/skin care; participate in rounds if skilled.
