Job summary

Addus HomeCare in New Mexico is hiring Home Care Aides (HCAs) to support seniors living at home in Santa Fe, Pojoaque, Tesuque, Los Alamos and nearby areas. Pay starts at $17.00 per hour with daily pay available for select positions.

The Home Care Aide - Flex is on call for 5 days per week, with 40 hours weekly and at least one weekend day. This role follows care plans, assists with personal care, meals and light housekeeping, and transports clients to appointments.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Must pass a criminal background check.
• Must have reliable transportation with valid driver's license and proof of insurance.

Responsibilities

• Call in each morning for assignment.
• Follow care plans and report completed tasks.
• Assist with personal care (bathing, dressing).
• Provide or assist with routine house cleaning, meal preparation, and laundry.
• Transport client to appointments and errands.
• Assist client with self-administration of medications.
• Observe changes in the client’s condition.
• Be on call 24-hour shifts.
• Work 5 days per week, including at least one weekend day.
