Job summary

UnitedHealth Group, through DFW Home Health, is expanding its occupational therapy team to help patients regain maximal physical function in home settings. The OTA follows the supervising OT plan and ensures care complies with state laws while delivering compassionate, patient-centered therapy.

This role offers a home-health setting with a pay structure including annual cash targets, per-visit pay and hourly components, and comprehensive benefits aligned with corporate standards.

Qualifications

• Current OTA licensure in state of practice.
• Current driver’s license and vehicle insurance or access to dependable transportation.
• Must be certified and in good standing with NBCOT.

Responsibilities

• Follow state laws governing occupational therapy in home care and the supervising OT-defined plan of care.
• Instruct and assist patients in evidence-based therapy within scope and laws.
• Observe and report patient response to treatment to nurse supervisor and physician.
• Educate patient, family, and care team on therapy within OTA scope.
• Work effectively in diverse home settings and treat all clients with respect.
