Job summary

Adventist Health Lodi Memorial in Lodi, CA seeks an Occupational Therapist to provide prescribed therapies across geriatric, orthopedic, neurologic, pediatric and neonatal rehab, including splint follow-ups. Work under supervision and mentor staff on technical skills.

Eligible candidates have an Associate’s/Technical Degree in occupational therapy and 2 years of rehabilitative services or equivalent education, with CPP/BLS requirements and a commitment to safety and care quality.

Qualifications

• High School Education/GED or equivalent is required.
• Associate’s/Technical Degree in occupational therapy or equivalent combination of education/related experience is required.
• Two years' rehabilitative services experience or equivalent education is preferred.
• Two years' occupational therapy experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Implements treatment plans and selects modalities to meet established goals.
• Transports, transfers, and assists patients in and out of wheelchairs, beds, tilt tables and stretchers while ensuring safety and minimizing undue patient discomfort.
• Assists with inpatient and outpatient schedules, as needed.
• Arranges patient schedules for scheduled visit arrivals and reports any delays.
• Assists in the maintenance, care and cleaning of equipment and supplies.
• Performs other job-related duties as assigned.
