Legacy Health is seeking a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant to provide patient-centered OT services across the lifespan, from neonates to geriatrics. Under supervision of an OT, you will implement treatment plans, educate families, and help coordinate equipment delivery and discharge planning.

You will document care, participate in quality initiatives, and collaborate with the therapy team to ensure high standards of practice while supporting departmental goals and community education

Qualifications

• Associate degree from an accredited OTA program.
• 3–5 years of experience preferred.
• Current COTA licensure required.
• BLS for Providers certification required.

Responsabilités

• Administers occupational therapy programs for patients from neonates to geriatrics under the direction of the Registered OT.
• Administers therapy according to the established plan of the OTR using appropriate procedures and equipment.
• Educates patients and caregivers about goals, home programs and injury prevention.
• Recommends equipment and arranges delivery; documents progress and discharge decisions.
• Supervises aides/volunteers and participates in QA, staff meetings, in-services, and community education.
• Co-treats and consults with therapists from other disciplines; maintains patient documentation to criteria.
