Mercy Health, Marcum & Wallace Hospital, is seeking an Occupational Therapist to improve patients’ ability to perform daily tasks. You will evaluate, plan and implement OT therapies across inpatient, outpatient and off-site settings, coordinating with physicians and families.

The role requires state OT licensure or eligibility, BLS within 30 days for certain facilities, and 2 years of experience in a similar setting. Mercy Health supports professional development and comprehensive benefits.

Formación

• Age-specific standards, policies and guidelines for pediatric to geriatric patients.
• General computer skills including data entry, word processing, email, and records management.
• Analytical abilities to evaluate patient condition, capabilities and progress.

Responsabilidades

• Review physician referrals and patient history to determine therapy needs.
• Conduct evaluations, re-evaluations and document treatment plans.
• Administer OT treatments and create equipment for patient needs.
• Develop programs for functional skills, daily activities and motor skills.
• Monitor progress and adjust goals; participate in care conferences.
• Educate patients and families on at-home treatment Procedures.
