The Cantex Continuing Care Network is seeking a Nutrition Services Aide to support dining services in a long-term care environment. You may help prepare and serve meals, set up dining areas, and deliver nourishments while ensuring food safety and patient satisfaction.

Responsibilities include sanitation, tray assembly, and assisting with meal preparation, with adherence to local and state regulations and infection prevention practices.

Qualificações

• Current state Food Handler Certificate.
• Experience in food service, dietary services, meal preparation, and operation of food service equipment preferred.
• Knowledge of food safety, sanitation practices, safe food handling, and infection prevention preferred.
• Ability to read, write, and speak the English language.

Responsabilidades

• Assures that sanitation, food safety, and quality standards are met.
• Washes and sanitizes dishes, pots, pans, tableware, and utensils as needed.
• Cleans and sanitizes kitchen equipment and food service equipment as assigned.
• Completes required logs and documentation as assigned.
• Prepares dining room tables and patient room trays with appropriate tableware, condiments, and tray tickets.
• Assists with food preparation, meal assembly, tray line operations, and portioning of food servings.
• Prepares and serves beverages for tray line operations and dining rooms.
• Performs cleaning and sanitation duties according to established schedules.
• Prepares and delivers nourishments and nutritional supplements identified with patient labels.
• Maintains tray tickets and updates meal service information as directed or required.
