Job summary

Cantex Continuing Care Network is hiring a Nutrition Services Aide to support dining services in our long-term care environment. You may help prepare meals, set tables, and deliver trays while maintaining sanitation and safety standards.

You will assist with meal service, sanitize work areas, and help ensure patient satisfaction through accurate tray assembly and timely nourishment delivery. Knowledge of infection prevention and state food handling regulations is a plus.

Qualifications

• Current state Food Handler Certificate is required
• Experience in food service or dietary services is preferred
• Knowledge of food safety and infection prevention is preferred
• Ability to read, write, and speak English

Responsibilities

• Ensure sanitation and food safety standards are met.
• Washes and sanitizes dishes, pots, and utensils.
• Cleans kitchen and dining areas and equipment.
• Prepares dining room tables and patient trays.
• Assists with meal preparation and tray line operations.
• Delivers nourishments and nutritional supplements.
• Maintains cleanliness of dishwashing and storage areas.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
