Sanford Health is seeking a Nursing Assistant to provide patient-centered care and daily living assistance under supervision. The role supports nursing staff across shifts, with a 36-hour work week and a $2,000 sign-on bonus.

The NA performs basic health care tasks, records vital signs, and helps prepare treatment areas while maintaining safety and proper procedures. CNA preferred; benefit details provided at hire.

Competenze

• High school diploma or GED preferred, but not required.
• Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) is preferred.
• Obtains and subsequently maintains required department specific competencies and certifications.
• If working in North Dakota (ND) and not a CNA, must be on the ND Nurse Aide Registry within four months from the date of initial employment.

Mansioni

• Provide assistance with basic health care needs including daily living activities; bathing, grooming, toileting, eating, meal preparation and dining needs, emotional and spiritual needs.
• Administer delegated tasks and treatments.
• Record vital statistics and other basic health information.
• Will collect non-invasive biological specimens from patients as needed.
• Perform clerical work related to scheduling and documenting patient healthcare.
• Prepare patient treatment areas for use; prepare and clean medical equipment; dispose of biomedical waste according to standards and policy.
• Clean patient living areas or treatment rooms.
• Provide one on one care to patients when necessary for safety of care.
