Job summary

Pioneer Care and Rehabilitation in Dillon, MT is seeking a compassionate Nursing Assistant to support residents with daily living activities, assist with meals, transports, and rounds, and help maintain a safe, comfortable living environment under the supervision of a certified caregiver. Experience in similar facilities is preferred but not required.

Strong communication, patience, and empathy are essential, as is the ability to lift/move patients.

Qualifications

• Experience in a similar setting (e.g., skilled nursing facility or assisted living) preferred but not required.
• Strong communication, patience and empathy are essential.
• Physical requirements include lifting/moving patients and standing for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Carry out assigned duties per policies and procedures.
• Conduct resident rounds at shift start and at regular intervals (approx. every two hours).
• Verify resident identity before providing care or meals.
• Maintain a clean, comfortable environment and meet resident needs.
• Perform additional duties as needed.
