Job summary

Pioneer Care and Rehabilitation in Dillon, MT is seeking a compassionate Nursing Assistant to support residents with daily living activities, assist with meals, transports, and rounds, and help maintain a safe, comfortable living environment under the supervision of a certified caregiver. Experience in similar facilities is preferred but not required.

Strong communication, patience, and empathy are essential, as is the ability to lift/move patients.

Pioneer Care and Rehabilitation is a dedicated 87-bed skilled nursing facility located in Dillon, MT. We provide comprehensive support to our residents through a full range of skilled nursing care and restorative therapies. Position Description

As a Nursing Assistant (NA), you will play a critical role in providing compassionate care and support to our residents. Working under the supervision of a certified care giver, you will assist residents with daily living activities, help maintain a safe and clean environment and provide companionship. Nursing Assistants are required to complete CNA testing within four months of hire.

Qualifications

• Experience: Prior experience in a similar setting (e.g., skilled nursing facility, assisted living) preferred but not required.
• Skills: Strong communication, patience, and empathy are essential.
• Physical Requirements: Must be able to lift/move patients, stand for extended periods, and perform other physically demanding tasks.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Carry out all assigned duties in accordance with established policies and procedures.
• Conduct resident rounds at the beginning of each shift and at regular intervals (approximately every two hours).
• Ensure each resident receives the appropriate care and meals by confirming their identity before providing nursing care or serving food.
• Help maintain a clean, comfortable environment and ensure resident needs, including basic room setup and comfort, are met.
• Perform additional duties as needed or as directed.

Compensation

$17- $18 an hour, based on experience
