Job summary

The Alden Network is seeking a dedicated Nursing Assistant to provide daily care to residents in accordance with state and facility policies. You will assist with activities of daily living and ensure a safe, respectful environment under the supervision of nursing staff.

Responsibilities include documenting measurements, participating in care plan discussions, and supporting residents through transfers, meals, and routine tasks. CPR certification is required within two weeks of hire.

Qualifications

• Completion of a nursing arts course from an accredited program.
• Must be at least 16 years old and of good moral character.
• High school diploma or GED required; CPR certification within two weeks of employment.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with activities of daily living as directed by nursing staff.
• Maintain warmth and a positive environment throughout the department.
• Record intake/output and monitor resident health indicators as instructed.
• Participate in care plan conferences and quality assurance activities.
• Respond to call lights, assist with mobility, and help with transfers as needed.
