Job summary

National Church Residences seeks a Non-Certified Nursing Assistant to provide direct resident care during 6p-6a shifts. You will assist with daily living activities, monitor vitals, document changes and maintain a safe, respectful environment.

The role emphasizes teamwork, communication, and adherence to facility procedures, including HIPAA and safety guidelines. High school diploma or GED is preferred; prior CNA experience is welcomed.

Qualifications

• Must have good communication, comprehension and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to speak, read, write and understand English.
• High school diploma or GED preferred (or current enrollment in related program).

Responsibilities

• Provide direct care to residents, assist with daily living activities.
• Assist with vitals, weights and other nursing documentation.
• Maintain room cleanliness and resident comfort; respond to call lights promptly.
• Support with admissions, transfers and training of new staff as assigned.
• Ensure resident rights, privacy and safety in all tasks.
