Responsibilities

• Assist RN with daily patient care including bathing, oral hygiene, feeding, activity orders, and ambulation.
• Measure and document blood pressures, TPRs, intake/output, daily weights, and other patient data in EMR.
• Perform rounding and communicate observations and needs to RN.
• Assist with admission, transfer and discharge processes and room setup.
• Collect urine, stool, and sputum specimens and perform point-of-care testing as indicated.
