Job summary

Advocate Health is seeking a part-time Nursing Assistant for Advocate Lutheran General Hospital, 12C. The role covers night shifts from 7:00 pm to 7:30 am with every other weekend and rotating holidays, totaling 24 hours per week. You will support RNs, assist with basic patient care, and document in the EMR.

Qualifications

• Basic computer skills.
• Excellent oral and written communication.
• Excellent organizational skills and ability to set priorities.
• Certification Addendum is required.

Responsibilities

• Assists RN with daily patient care including bathing, oral hygiene, feeding, activity orders and ambulation.
• Measures and documents vitals and I&O in EMR.
• Performs rounding and communicates observations to RN.
• Assists in admissions, transfers and discharges under RN supervision.
• Maintains patient rooms, transports items, and manages supplies.
