Wellpath / Correct Care Solutions is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant to provide basic and specialized nursing care under licensed supervision in a correctional setting. The role emphasizes patient safety, documentation, and collaboration with healthcare and security staff.

The position requires a high school diploma or equivalent, completion of Nursing Assistant training, and ability to pass background checks and drug screening.

Formación

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Completion of training course for Nursing Assistants.
• Ability to pass background check and drug screen.
• Pass and maintain clearance for a Public Trust Position if required.
• Ability to express thoughts logically in English, written and verbal.
• Ability to use Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint and database systems.

Responsabilidades

• Provides basic nursing care to patients under the direction of a licensed nurse, including assistance with ADLs, vital signs, and documentation.
• Maintains professional behavior and prioritizes workflow while遵守 policies and safeguarding patient privacy.
• Collaborates with health care team and correctional officers to plan and implement patient care.
• Demonstrates basic knowledge of nursing procedures and proper use of medical supplies.
• Performs additional duties as assigned by the supervising nurse or orientation of new staff.
