Qualifications

• Ability to pass background check and drug screen.

Responsibilities

• Provides basic nursing care to patients under the direction of a licensed nurse, including assistance with ADLs, vital sign measurement, and accurate documentation of patient data.
• Maintains professional behavior and prioritizes workflow to ensure completion of all assigned duties, while adhering to policies and procedures and promoting patient safety and confidentiality.
• Collaborates with other members of the health care team, participates in staff meetings and training sessions, and notifies the licensed nurse of any patient concerns or issues.
• Demonstrates basic knowledge of nursing procedures and proficiently uses medical supplies and equipment, while also ensuring their proper storage and cleaning.
• Performs other duties as assigned by the supervising nurse, such as assisting with patient care in different units and participating in the orientation of new staff members.
