Job summary

UCI Health is seeking a Nursing Assistant to support professional nursing staff in patient care. You will take vital signs, help with hygiene, and help maintain a safe, clean unit environment. The role includes stocking supplies, operating equipment, and performing clerical tasks as needed.

Qualifications include basic medical terminology, English proficiency, and CNA/LVN certification or enrollment in a nursing program. Must be flexible to work nights, weekends, and holidays.

Qualifications

• Ability to read, write and speak English effectively.
• Demonstrates the ability to communicate therapeutically with patients.
• Willingness to work variable shifts including nights, weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Take and record vital signs.
