Job summary

This role requires RI licensure as a Nursing Assistant, BLS certification, and good computer skills to document care in the EHR.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required or preferred.
• BLS certification required.
• Ability to perform personal care and basic nursing assistant tasks.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the RN to organize work and set priorities.
• Perform personal care and daily living activities for patients.
• Assist with basic nursing tasks and rehabilitation activities.
• Maintain a safe environment and report hazards or equipment issues.
• Document patient observations and care data in the EHR.
• Communicate observations to the RN and participate in patient safety.
• May function as a patient observer when needed.
