Job summary

Sanford Health in Bemidji, MN is seeking a Nursing Assistant to provide patient-centered care during scheduled shifts. The NA assists with daily living activities, supports nursing staff, and helps maintain a safe, clean care environment.

Shifts are 12 hours with three shifts per week and every third weekend/holiday commitment. Certification/registry with MN Board is preferred; a drug screen and background check are required for offers.

Qualifications

• Must be able to acquire a basic knowledge of patient care principles, medical terminology and equipment within the assigned service area.
• Certification and registration with the Minnesota Board of Nursing Assistant Registry is preferred; certification may be required by law.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient-centered nursing care and daily living assistance under RN or LPN supervision.
• Perform basic health care tasks and document vital signs accurately.
• Prepare treatment areas, clean equipment, and manage patient living areas.
