Job summary

The Cypress Club is seeking a compassionate Nursing Assistant to support professional staff in delivering daily resident care in a long‑term care setting. You will assist with hygiene, feeding, dressing, and mobility while maintaining high standards of safety and dignity for residents.

Qualification includes a CNA certification and the ability to read, write, and communicate in English. Prior long‑term care experience is preferred and CPR is a plus.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent; must be able to read, write, speak, and communicate in English.
• CNA certification is required.
• Previous experience in a long‑term care facility is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct resident care including personal hygiene, bathing, grooming, dressing.
• Monitor vital signs and report changes to the nurse.
• Assist with transfers and positioning; ensure resident safety.
• Document care provided in the EMR and maintain confidentiality of resident information.
• Respond to call lights promptly and support residents in activities.
