Job summary

Cypress of Hilton Head is seeking a compassionate Nursing Assistant to support the professional nursing staff with routine care and daily living activities for residents. The role includes feeding, bathing, dressing and assisting with mobility during 12-hour shifts.

Qualifications include a High School diploma or equivalent and CNA certification. CPR training is preferred. The position offers full-time, part-time or PRN options based on scheduling needs and resident care demands.

Qualifications

• Must read, write, speak and communicate in English.
• CNA certification required or in process.
• Experience in long-term care or nursing assistant roles preferred.
• Strong interpersonal and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct resident care including personal hygiene, feeding and daily living activities.
• Monitor residents and report changes to nursing staff.
• Document care provided, meals, fluids and bowel/bladder observations.
• Assist with mobility, transfers, and activities of daily living.
• Maintain cleanliness and order in resident areas and equipment.
