Henry Ford Health is seeking a Nurse Assistant to join the 6W Med Surg Unit. This full-time role is 36 hours per week with day shifts, and an alternating weekend schedule. Under the supervision of the RN, you will assist with patient care, support safety, and help with admissions, transfers, discharges, and daily activities.

Eligible for full-time benefits. Eligible candidates include high school diploma or GED, CNA preferred, completion of Nurse Assistant program, or current nursing student,

Qualifikationen

• High school diploma or GED required or equivalent, CNA preferred, nurse assistant program completed.
• Candidates may be enrolled in a nursing program or have related healthcare training.
• Foreign trained RN relocating to the United States without Michigan RN license is eligible.
• Medical Assistant program also considered.
• At least one year of NA/PCT/PAT experience is valued.

Aufgaben

• Maintains effective, professional communication during patient, family and team interactions.
• Assists the RN with admitting, transferring, and discharging patients.
• Provides personal care including bathing, dressing, feeding, toileting, mobility, and comfort.
• Maintains a clean, safe, and therapeutic environment in line with standards.
• Documents patient care provided and completes required records.
• Performs general clerical duties as assigned.
