Job summary

Henry Ford Health in Michigan is seeking a Nurse Assistant to support patients under the supervision of a Registered Nurse. You will help meet safety and comfort needs, contribute input to patient care plans, and respond to emergent situations following established procedures.

Qualifications

High school diploma or GED equivalent is required.
Completion of a Nurse Assistant program (or enrollment in a nursing program with fundamentals completed) is required, or equivalent experience.
BLS Heart Saver Certification must be completed during orientation.

Responsibilities

Assist in meeting the safety and comfort needs of patients under the direction of an RN.
Provide input to help RNs plan and implement patient care.
Respond to emergent situations according to established procedures.
Participate in continuing education to enhance your skills and knowledge.
Uphold the Henry Ford Health System Team Member Standards of Excellence in all interactions.
