Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred; however, applicants may be given preference.
• Hospital experience preferred.
• CPR certification required (or recertification during orientation).
• Must be able to read, write, and perform basic arithmetic.

Responsibilities

• Take and record temperature, pulse, respiration, blood pressures, weights and intake-output measurements.
• Assist with ADLs and patient mobility under RN supervision.
• Provide hygiene and grooming assistance (bed baths, oral hygiene, hair care).
• Support nutrition by distributing meals and assisting with feeding as needed.
• Maintain a safe, clean patient environment and report equipment issues.
• Report significant changes in patient condition to RN and document appropriately.
