Job summary

Paycom - ATS is seeking a Nurse Aide to provide direct resident care in a Virginia facility. You will assist with ADLs, monitor and record vital signs, and help maintain a clean, safe environment for residents under supervision.

The role requires patience, clear communication, and a current Virginia Nurse Aide certificate. You will collaborate with nursing staff and participate in daily activities to support resident well-being.

Qualifications

High School diploma or equivalent required.
Current Virginia Nurse Aide certification required.
Excellent communication and patience with residents and families.

Responsibilities

Provide care for Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) including bathing, dressing, feeding, personal hygiene, toileting, positioning, and mobility.
Take and record vital signs and report changes to supervisor.
Review assignments at start of shift and note changes in care or transfer status.
Record all care provided in EMR or paper chart.
Assist with meals, assist with feeding as needed, and monitor food/fluid intake.
Maintain tidy, safe resident rooms and reduce hazards.
Follow safety, sanitation, and infection-control procedures at all times.
Welcome new residents and support smooth transitions.
Communicate with residents and engage them in activities and conversation.
