Job summary

Bon Secours Mercy Health is hiring a part-time Registered Nurse for the Behavioral Health Unit at St. Mary’s Hospital in Virginia. The night shift runs 7:30pm–8am with a 2 x 12 schedule per week.

The RN will provide direct patient care, implement care plans, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure safe, therapeutic environments. The role requires an RN license, 1 year of nursing experience, and familiarity with behavioral health care. BSN preferred; BLS/ACLS as applicable.

Qualifications

• RN license in good standing
• 1 year of RN experience
• Behavioral Health experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Deliver direct patient care per plan of care
• Assess patient status and document changes
• Administer medications and IV fluids
• Inspect wounds and assist with hygiene
• Communicate with patients and families to plan treatment
• Collaborate with care teams to achieve outcomes
• Perform other duties as assigned
