Job summary

Helping Hands Medical Rides LLC in Memphis, TN seeks a dependable NEMT Driver to provide safe transport for patients to medical appointments.

You will assist boarding, secure mobility devices, and ensure a clean, professional vehicle while following regulations. Must pass background checks and drug screening; PASS certification required; CPR preferred. Competitive pay and flexible scheduling offered.

Qualifications

• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
• Ability to pass a criminal background check and drug screening.
• Current CTAA PASS Basic Certification is required; provide proof before employment.
• CPR/First Aid certification is preferred.
• Ability to safely assist ambulatory, wheelchair, bariatric, and stretcher passengers.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Reliable, punctual, and professional in appearance and conduct.

Responsibilities

• Safely transport ambulatory, wheelchair, bariatric, and stretcher patients to and from medical appointments.
• Assist passengers with boarding, exiting, and securing mobility devices.
• Properly secure wheelchairs and other mobility equipment in accordance with safety standards.
• Provide excellent customer service while treating every passenger with dignity and respect.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and professional vehicle.
• Complete trip documentation accurately and communicate effectively with dispatch and healthcare facilities.
• Follow all company policies and state and federal transportation regulations.
