Job summary

D-POM, LLC is seeking a reliable NEMT Driver to transport clients to medical appointments, treatment centers, adult day programs, community-based services, and other approved destinations, while ensuring safety and professionalism.

The NEMT Driver will perform pre-trip inspections, assist with entering/exiting vehicles, secure mobility devices, maintain logs, and comply with HIPAA and company policies. The role emphasizes safety, compassion, and confidentiality.

Qualifications

• Valid driver's license with clean driving record.
• Minimum age 21.
• Ability to pass background and drug screening.
• CPR and First Aid certification or ability to obtain.
• Ability to operate wheelchair-accessible vehicles (when applicable).

Responsibilities

• Safely transport clients to and from scheduled destinations.
• Assist passengers with entering and exiting vehicles.
• Secure wheelchairs and mobility devices using approved procedures.
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections.
• Maintain transportation logs, trip sheets, and mileage records.
• Provide respectful and professional customer service.
