Job summary

Universal Health Services, Inc. seeks a Mental Health Technician (MHT) to support patients on an inpatient behavioral health unit at Lincoln Trail Behavioral Health System in Kentucky.

You will work with licensed clinical staff to address physical, social, and behavioral needs throughout the treatment journey. Responsibilities include routine non-acute care, accurate documentation of patient goals and progress, adapting care to individual needs, and fostering a therapeutic milieu under

Qualifications

• High School Graduate or GED required.
• Experience in direct patient care or psychiatric settings preferred.
• Completion of Nursing Assistant Training or equivalent preferred.

Responsibilities

• The MHT provides routine non-acute physical, behavioral, and mental care to the patient on the milieu under licensed staff.
• Completes all required documentation clearly, showing understanding of patient goals and treatment plan.
• Adapts to individual patient needs and maintains consistency across shifts.
• Fosters and maintains the unit’s therapeutic milieu.

Education
