Job summary

Qualifications

• Ability to assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs) including dressing, grooming, toileting and hygiene.
• Compassionate communication with residents, families and staff.
• Ability to follow policies and procedures, and work as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Provide assistance with ADLs, dining, housekeeping and laundry while promoting resident independence.
• Engage residents in activities and monitor wellbeing; report changes to supervisor.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and respectful environment for residents, families, visitors and staff.
• Assist with feeding, mobility, and daily routines as required by residents’ care plans.
• Adhere to HIPAA and privacy guidelines; participate in trainings and mandatory meetings.
