Job summary

Myrtle Beach Manor is seeking a Resident Care Associate (CNA) to join our team in Myrtle Beach, SC. This full-time role involves providing hands-on care in assisted living and memory care, following personalized care plans, and ensuring a safe, home-like environment for residents and their families.

The position requires weekend and evening availability, with opportunities to engage in activities and coordinate with families and care teams.

Qualifications

High School education preferred and may be required by the state.
Previous elder or disabled care experience preferred.
Must be at least 18 years old to perform personal care tasks.
Knowledge of Assisted Living and Dementia care preferred.
Ability to work weekends, evenings and flexible hours.

Responsibilities

Participates in development and updates of Personalized Service Plans with families.
Maintains hydration schedule and ensures resident dining plans are followed.
Completes meal attendance sheets and provides room service or notes if not dining in dining room.
Ensures resident rights are followed and assists with activities as appropriate.
Checks resident rooms daily for cleanliness and condition; escalates issues as needed.
Supports laundry and common areas, handles hazards and coordinates with housekeeping.
Completes ADLs per PSP and responds to call bells promptly.
