Job summary

Anthem Lakes in Jacksonville, FL is seeking a compassionate caregiver to enhance the SRIM experience for residents and families. You will assist with activities of daily living, dining, light housekeeping, laundry, and encourage resident independence while upholding our golden rule value.

Responsibilities include supporting residents with dressing, grooming, hygiene, dining service, and participating in leisure activities.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent.
• Experience in caregiving or related training preferred.
• Ability to read and write simple instructions.
• Willingness to follow policies and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with activities of daily living including dressing, grooming, peri-care, toileting and hygiene.
• Serve meals and assist in dining room at breakfast, lunch, and dinner.
• Perform light housekeeping and laundry to maintain a clean environment.
• Encourage resident independence and participate in leisure activities as scheduled.
• Observe changes in health or mood and report to supervisor daily.
• Communicate effectively with residents, families, visitors, and staff.
• Maintain safety and a dignified, caring atmosphere for all.
