Job summary

Avamere Living - The Arbor at Avamere Court in Keizer, OR, is seeking a Part-time Server to deliver excellent dining service in a memory care, assisted living, and/or independent living environment.

The role involves taking orders, serving meals and beverages, setting up and clearing tables, and ensuring a positive dining experience for residents. Training will cover food safety, sanitation, and resident interaction, with opportunities for growth within the Avamere family.

Qualifications

• Maintain high sanitation and safety standards in food service.
• Maintain personal hygiene and hair restraint.
• Communicate effectively with residents and staff.
• Learn to operate dining room equipment and assist as needed.
• Possess CPR/First Aid certification during employment.

Responsibilities

• Record and deliver orders accurately.
• Serve meals and beverages promptly and attractively.
• Provide attentive, friendly service and address resident needs.
• Set up and sanitize dining room before and after meals.
• Clear and reset tables for next service.
• Deliver room service orders to residents’ apartments.
• Answer residents’ questions about menu and dietary needs.
• Interact professionally with residents and guests.
