Ivy Park at San Lauren, managed by Oakmont Management Group, is seeking a Medication Technician (Part Time / On-Call) in Bakersfield, CA. You will supervise and assist in administering medications and provide direct personal care to residents while collaborating with other staff to maintain a safe, compassionate living environment.

Requirements include at least 18 years old, a high school diploma or equivalent; state training/certification may be required.

Qualifications

• Experience in medication assistance at RCFE preferred.
• State training/certification may be required.
• Must be 18 years of age; LVN is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and distribute medication to residents.
• Coordinate medication services with the resident, pharmacy, and physician.
• Order and track medication changes, refills, and deliveries with pharmacies.
• Maintain accurate, complete, and confidential resident medication and care records.
• Maintain a safe and secure environment for all staff, residents, and guests, following safety standards.
• Encourage teamwork through cooperative interactions with co-workers and other departments.
