Job summary

Celebration Village Acworth is seeking a dedicated Medication Technician to join our compassionate care team. You will administer and supervise medications, document in MAR, and support residents with daily living activities in a warm, family-like environment.

This full-time role reports to the Wellness Director and includes on-call scheduling, shifts coordination, and a benefits package with PTO, daily pay, health/dental insurance, and a 401K match.

Qualifications

• Must maintain state certification for medication aides.
• Successful completion of state-required education/certification for medication aides.
• Ability to read, write, and speak in English.
• Must be in good physical health; able to lift 40 pounds.
• Background check and drug testing required.
• Experience in Assisted Living preferred.

Responsibilities

• Administer medications per physician orders and MAR documentation.
• Document medications accurately on MAR and verify before shift end.
• Conduct shift change reports with incoming staff.
• Maintain medication cart security and narcotics count.
• Assist residents with activities of daily living and mobility.
• Collaborate with peers and departments to ensure care.
• Maintain professional demeanor when interacting with residents and families.
• Report suspected abuse to licensed staff.
• Participate in on-call staffing rotations; arrange coverage.
• Be reachable by phone 24/7 when on-call.
