Responsibilities include med prep, administration, charting in the EHR, inventory management, and maintaining a compliant, organized medication area while upholding residents' dignity and preferences.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Completion of a Medication Administration training program.
• One year of experience providing direct care to seniors in a long-term care setting preferred.

Responsibilities

• Accurately prepare, administer, and document medications per physician orders and community protocols.
• Monitor residents for side effects or adverse reactions and perform vital signs checks.
• Maintain accurate records in the EHR system.
• Assist with medication inventory, ordering, and proper storage and handling.
