Job summary

Celebration Village Forsyth is seeking a Certified Medication Aide to administer medications safely and provide compassionate care to residents. You will document MARs, participate in shift reports, and maintain medication security while supporting residents with daily living activities.

The role emphasizes teamwork, adherence to safety protocols, and timely response to emergencies within a supportive, family-like community. The position offers full-time hours and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Satisfactory completion of state-required education/certificates/testing for medication aides.
• Ability to read, write, and speak in English.
• Be in good physical health and free of communicable diseases; lifting, bending, and pushing medication cart required.
• Must be able to lift 40 pounds.
• Completion of drug testing and criminal background check upon hire and upon request of supervisor.
• Experience in Assisted Living preferred.

Responsibilities

• Administers or assists with medications according to the physician order on the MAR.
• Documents medications administered on the MAR per company policy; verify MARs after administration.
• Conducts change of shift report to oncoming staff.
• Maintains security of medication cart and narcotic keys; conducts narcotic counts.
• Assists residents with activities of daily living (bathing, dressing, hygiene, etc.).
• Works collaboratively with peers and maintains professional demeanor.
